Week 4

This is a fish pass, it allows fish to move upstream.  They start by swimming into a tunnel on the right side of the structure near the falls were they can access the pools in the pass and make smaller jumps than the falls would require.

This is a shot from the bottom of the pass looking up.  The tunnel where the fish enter is on the right side of the pass.

This is the falls that are to the side of the fish pass.
This is the Hungry Point trail.  This runs from town out to the north side of the island.

Sitka black-tailed deer

Rainbow into Frederick Sound.

With some imagination you can see some faces in this rock.  These are petroglyphs at Sandy Beach.  There are fish traps at this beach that are 2000 years old.

This is the ball field complex in Petersburg.  There is zero grass in these fields, it is all gravel so I would assume that fielding could be a little tricky and sliding may be a little rough.

This is a little art on the side of a dugout.  I am guessing it is not quite done.
