Week 5 (4th of July)

Everyone is getting ready for the 4th of July parade.  The whole route was maybe 3 blocks long.  This shot is looking south down Nordic Dr.

This is looking north on Nordic Dr.  All of the floats are lining up in the background.

This is the float for the roller hockey club.  One of my supervisors is the goalie.

Here is our District Ranger driving in the parade.  He is towing the Forest Service float.

Here is our float.

Costumed dogs were part of the parade.  This little gray dog is the goalie's dog, Shadow.

Everyone is getting ready for the races.  There were a bunch of 50-yard dashes for kids and a 100-yard dash for teenagers.

Giant big wheel races.

This is the winning team for the XtraTuf 2x6 race.  They beat last years winner by 1 second and each member of the team won a new pair of XtraTufs.

This is just a seal that is hanging out on a log by where we dock our boat everyday for work.
